Vincent Casseus, AKA “Angelo” or “Jeremy”, 44 years old, former candidate for deputy and Senate under LAPEH political party in Grand’Anse, must attend a hearing on January 30 of 2019 after pleading guilty on November.

More than a quarter of women affected by physical or sexual abuse in Haiti,  Pan American Health Organization says

PAHO said that the prevalence of physical and/or sexual violence, however, varies among countries in the region.

It said in some countries, this type of violence affects 14 per cent of women between the ages of 15 and 49 at some point in their lives; whereas, in others, it can affect over 60 per cent. Continue reading
