HAITI : Former Minister of the Interior Réginald Delva is charged with firearms trafficking
Reginald Delva is charged with complicity in transnational crime, illicit trafficking in firearms, ammunition and criminal conspiracy. Investigations were carried out in Haiti and the United States in connection with the trafficking of a shipment of arms seized in September 2016 in Saint Marc.
The suppliers of these weapons, brothers Jimmy and Junior Joseph, were arrested in the United States. They are accused of illegally transporting arms to Haiti from the port of Palm Beach, according to Radio Metropole.
