Officials Release Damage Report From Oct.17 Protests Across Haiti.

The national police said two people were dead and 11 injured during the various marches that took place across Haiti on October 17. Haiti: Jovenel Moise Accuses Opposition Leaders Of Exploiting Petro Caribe Issue

President Jovenel Moïse denounced politicians, former managers of public funds or economic actors who work to exploit the PetroCaribe case.
In his opinion, these people want others to take responsibilities in order to conserve stolen public funds. Mr. Moise said he supports a fair and equitable trial that will punish the real culprits. The Pitit Dessalines party leader, Moïse Jean Charles, salutes the strong mobilization of the people who he said understood the message of the Opposition. On the strength of this success, the former Senator Moïse Jean Charles confirms the continuation of the mobilization to obtain the resignation of President Jovenel Moïse.
