Informal transfers from the Haitian diaspora underestimated

According to the Central Bank of Chile, transfers from that country to Haiti in 2017 amounted to 92 million US dollars, more than 13 times the amount observed in 2015. This amount places Haiti in 3rd place in the ranking of transfers of Chile’s funds abroad for the past year.
