Michael Brun is adding some friends to his North America Bayo tour.
Michael “Mikaben” Benjamin, Anie Alerte, Rutshelle Guillaume and Sandro “Dro” Martelly have been added to Brun’s Bayo tour that launches on June 8. The additions boast an impressive roster of established and rising stars in the Haitian music industry.
Benjamin will make an appearance at the Montreal show alongside Alerte, and the Orlando show with Martelly. He’ll also perform in Boston for the closing performance of the tour. Guillaume is the only one making her way to Washington, D.C. for the June 16 show, while Alerte will also make an appearance at the New York shows with Martelly.
Brun announced his “Bayo” North American tour in April, following the success of his Bayo concerts in New York last year and in Miami’s Little Haiti Cultural Center in March. Guest appearances will include J Perry, Paul Beaubrun and Gardy Girault. The first stop on his tour is on June 8 in Orlando, and closes off in Boston on June 23.
