After 15 years on the run, Rony Ulysse, 42 is back in the United States where he’s facing first degree murder charges. Ulysse was arrested in Haiti and extradited to Central Florida where he’s being held without bail at the Seminole County Jail.
Wilfredo Rivera, who owned Max-A-Million Records was killed in Orlando in March 2003, an affidavit said. WFTV-Ch. 9 reports that three people held Rivera and another man against their will because of a debt. Rivera was beaten and fatally shot.
Records also show that Jorge Robles, was convicted of Rivera’s murder in 2007 and sentenced to life in prison.
A Sheriff’s Office spokesman said the charges against Ulysse could be downgraded based on his cooperation with the investigation. Ulysse is also charged with aggravated assault and armed kidnapping. Report says he was taken into custody on an unrelated charge before investigators realized he was wanted in the U.S.
