Spirit Airlines adds new international routes to Ecuador, Haiti
On March 22, Spirit will begin flying from Fort Lauderdale to Guayaquil, Ecuador. The carrier will fly one daily round-trip flight throughout the year. On April 12, Spirit will launch service to Cap-Haïtien on the north coast of Haiti. On that route, Spirit’s year-round schedule will feature three flights a week. READ MORE
Reforestation Project Launched in Haiti by USAID
More than half of the Haitian economy relies on agriculture as a source of revenue. However, years of deforestation have left the country struggling with food insecurities and farmers with limited capabilities to live off of the land.
