Miss Haiti 2017 Crowned
On Sept. 3,Cassandra Chery was crowned Miss Haiti 2017. Chery is a 21-year-old model and student studying communications. She succeeds Raquel Pelissier Miss Haiti 2016, who was runner up in this year’s Miss Universe pageant.
Little Damage Reported After Earthquake Hits Haiti
One house was reportedly damaged, but there were no injuries or loss of life when a 4.3 magnitude earthquake occurred in Haiti over the weekend.
