Gradual reduction of cholera cases
According to data released by the Ministry of Public Health and Population (MSPP), there’s been a gradual decrease of the number of cholera cases.
This trend “reflects a better capacity to control transmission,” MSSP said, however “there is still a need to enhance efforts to strengthen the management of cases.” As part of continued efforts to reduce cholera cases, a humanitarian response plan is being developed to address the cholera outbreak.
No daylight savings for Haiti
Haiti will not be setting their clocks forward this year for daylight savings, the president’s communications’ office announced. Time changes were applied to Haiti from 1983 to 1997, from 2005 to 2006, and from 2012 to 2015.
