The Electoral Evaluation Commission will report all its findings

The Electoral Evaluation Commission visited the Voting Tabulation Center on Sunday, Dec. 27, Rosny Desroche, spokesman for the Commission said during a press conference. He announced the Commisssion will evaluate the center on Dec. 29 and Dec. 30.

According to the Desroches, the Commission already met with some of the stakeholders implicated in the electoral process including Jovenel Moise. They also plan to meet with Jude Celestin and the G8. The Commission, comprised of individuals representing five different sectors, recognizes the mission is a challenge, however, Desroches guarantees that the work will be done in a scientific manner by Haitian technicians and statisticians.

5 South American countries repatriated over 300 Haitians travelers

For the past two months five countries including Brazil, Chili, Peru, Bolivia, and Ecuador repatriated over 300 Haitians travelers.

They arrived in these countries on flights originating from the Dominican Republic without appropriate visas. José Francisco Peña Gómez, General Dominican Directorate of Immigration, Security and Intelligence Services at the international provided this information. Most of the Haitians trying to reach and enter the countries, particularly Brazil, have traveled to the Dominican Republic with legal visas, but others illegally crossed the Dominican border. They were all taken to the border so that they can return to Haiti.
