Jimmy Jean-Louis will reprise his role as “The Haitian” in the upcoming series Heroes Reborn. Jean-Louis’ role was a recurring character on all four seasons of Heroes, where he was often charged with erasing people’s memories. This week NBC released Jean-Louis’ Heroes Reborn flyer for the annual comic books expo, Comi-con.
Jean-Louis is the third actor from the original Heroes series to appear in Heroes Reborn. The series picks up five years after the ending of the original in 2010.
“The world knows about these people, so it changes the story considerably. When you discovered you had a power, it was a mystical journey of discovery,” said Tim Kring, the show’s creator during a session at Comi-Con.
“Now, if you wake up with a power, you know it’s a very bad thing because you’ll be exploited.”
Since Heroes ended in 2010, Jean-Louis has guest-starred in several series, including Arrow and Extant.
Heroes Reborn premiers on NBC on Sept. 24.
