TNH celebrated 29 years of television on December 23. The National Television of Haiti, signed on with its first regular telecast in 1979. The station also expanded its broadcast horizon three years ago to the internet with a dozen on demand programs. The celebration kicked off with Bossa Combo, the same band that performed on the opening day of the station. In making the anniversary speech, several staff members were pleased to celebrate 29 wonderful, vibrant years of television and service to Haiti. The event was a way for the employees to reminisce and also look forward to TNH next 29 years.
