In the wake of last year’s departure of Darbenz, things looked bleak for System Band, whose live performances have remained a flop for couple months. But the band has recently announced the addition of a new lead singer, Nido Noel. Formerly with the band Bizi of New Jersey, Nido has joined the band effective immediately. “Nido a unique vocal edge to the band with his dynamic style, and is an exciting and engaging live performer,” remarks one System Band musician who wants to remain anonymous. Combined with his talent for Konpa music, Nido Noel is looking forward to starting this new chapter in the band’s career. Nido has been filling in at recent shows, and seems now be a permanent fixture on stage with Douby.
