The Haitian Creole Rap band Masters has been forced to pull out their forthcoming
US tour dates after the American embassy denied them a visa. The band had been booked for several shows in New York, Florida and Georgia would have to file a new petition after a year, according to a letter given by the embassy. Apparently, all the band’s documents were fine, but they could not say when they will return to Haiti. Masters, which was hoping to take part in clubs shows and festivals across Florida, will not be able to enter. The band’s manager and the petition lawyer have called on the Embassy to reverse their decision, especially since several promoters have already booked some clubs and stared their promotion.
