Luko Desir, a DJ and promoter in Haiti has moved to Fort-Lauderdale where he said he will stay for a very long time. According to some people in Florida, Desir didn’t take long to be on the air again. He now owns and operates a pirate station “Radio Fusion” in Fort-Lauderdale. People have warned Desir of the risks behind that, and that he’s putting his life in jeopardy. For the past three years, the FCC has shut down a dozen underground radios, and the police have arrested several Haitians that operate illegal radio stations from their home. Desir said he knows what he’s doing, and that Radio Fusion is here to stay.
