Kreyol La’s end of the year three-night shows in Miami, New York and Montreal was tinged with sorrow because the band didn’t perform in New York and Miami last week and their performance in Montreal was disrupted by stinky gas. This one was supposed to be their “Year End” concert to close out 2008. The BAL was divided into two parts where Harmonik shared the stage. After they played their second song, people started to run after being told that a stink bomb has been dropped inside the club. Kreyol La non-performances in New York and Miami were apparently due to some kind of disagreement between the band’s management and the musicians, according to an informant.
