King Kino of Phantoms partnered with others through the end of December to provide children with much-needed items during the holiday season. The artist distributed thousands of toys to children exposed to abuse, neglect or trauma, as part of the program of his charitable organization, The King Kino Foundation. “For years, many children in Cite Soleil weren’t able to experience a Christmas. It’s a joy to help these children in any way we can,” said Kino. Even now, with video games and gadgets galore, a doll or a small car can light up a child’s face on Christmas morning. That’s why Kino decided to make his Christmas donation a major focus of his holiday efforts in Haiti.
