The people who made up the Haitian music industry are now scattered in different parts of the country, and of the world after the earthquake of January 12. Some of them lost everything, including their instruments, and without their base of operations, many of them fear they’ll be without income in the months to come. Jude Jean falls in that category, and has decided to move to New York where the “potential” and possibilities” are huge, a source said. The primary motivation for this decision is to facilitate the activities of his band that can have a better chance to impose itself in the market.
