Despite the fact that Haitian producer Herold Israel hasn’t yet found a distributor for his new film “Love.Net”, the shooting is complete and a release date will be unveiled soon. The film, starring singer Yves Mardice, started shooting in Florida, but scenes involving Nancy Francois and Dimitri Noel were shot in different places. Israel has been stretching tight budgets to produce more than one film per year while the Haitian movie industry, recently fattened by prosperity, is falling on hard times. “Love.Net” is Israel’s third film, following the success of “Player ½”.
The story is about a couple communicating through the Internet who falls madly in love despite being thousands of miles apart. The story is also a tragedy. The movie features Michema Seraphin, Nesthalie Etienne, Jerry Lilavois, Nancy Francois and Dimitri Noel.
