The Trans-Cultural Forum hosted by AfricAmerica and ACP will continue bringing together different generations and acting as an important linkage between Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific with Haitian roots. Several projects have been designed to further deepen the friendship between three continents, and this year the trans-cultural forum will be held in an earthquake devastated Haiti. For 17 days the forum will focus on three axes: “World Citizenship” “Transculpture” and “In the City”. The Forum will be characterized by a variety of cultural events that will be a new rendezvous with the artists, journalists, and creators from Guadeloupe, France, Canada, Togo, Gabon, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, and Madagascar that will join their Haitian counterparts from May 28 to June 15, 2010.
