With over 5000 supporters expected in attendance, French artists of Champagne-Ardenne in the city of Reims will host an awe-inspiring Benefit Art Auction on March 28, 2010 at the Mayor’s Office as a support to Haiti. Proceeds will benefit Haitian artists in their mission to keep art alive after the earthquake. The auction will attract works from some of the biggest names in the contemporary French art world. Organizers of the auction expect to raise at least a six-figure sum that will be given to “Fondation de France”, an organization that has been helping Haitian artists and development projects in Haiti for many years.
