Haitian media reported last week that one of Haiti’s top artists, Allrich Moca has been found killed in his house in Bolosse. The 32 year old painter was a decorated artist of note, and has won the grand prize of “Connaitre les Jeunes Peintres Contest” in 1997. Moca was shot in the chest and killed by intruders at his house on Monday November 17. Witnesses said they heard two shots around 3 AM, and saw a car leaving the artist’s house in a hurry.
