Caracoli, the agency headed by Pascale Jaunay and that manages Azor and Brothers Posse, has received an official invitation as Haitian music expert by The European Commission to give a conference on the theme “ Culture and Creation, Development Factors”.
The Conference takes place in Brussels from April 1-3, and will gather music professionals from ACP and the European Union. This year, most speakers will focus on the circulation of the artists outside their homeland, project financing, and access to the new technologies available. A special session on international visa will be organized during the conference, in collaboration with the ministers of culture of several countries where they will share the experiences vis-à-vis the difficulties for the musicians to get a visa. This session should help among others, the policy makers and foreign embassies in understanding the critical issues of “cultural visa” and remedies.
