Talk in the Haitian Music Industry is saying that an anonymous man, known in the Haitian community as “big boss” was trying to make a secret deal with Darbenz by offering him a lump sum of cash to quit Zenglen and join another band in the making. The man who they say presents himself as a business owner, investor, and a wealthy person made a first offer of 50,000 dollars in cash and a brand new BMW to Darbenz. It was reported that Darbenz asked the “boss” to give him some time to think about the offer, and later turned it down, seeing the move as a trap that can jeopardize his new career with Zenglen.
