Beldjaz was in Haiti last weekend to launch its first album at the music fair Musique en Folie that did not take place this year. The band has now a management deal with Kaliko Productions CEO, Gerald Firmin, but is being pursued by Tropikal. With twelve tracks penned by Ralph Menelas and Pipo, the band hopes that if their business is handled fairly with Kaliko Productions, they could become one of the top Haitian bands on the market. With the acquisition of the properties that will house Kaliko’s new Marabou Cafe, Beldjaz hopes to grow its fans base and, at the same time, offers the opportunity to the public to appreciate their live performances.
