International Reggae sensation Seydou ”Alpha Blondy” Koné will be performing at Parc de la Canne-a-Sucre, Haiti July 18. The legendary singer will arrive in the Haitian capital to promote his latest album and perform at this year Haiti Reggae Festival. The Ivorian Reggae star told promoter Thomas Assabath he’s so happy to come to Haiti where the people are familiar with many of his hits, including “Bridagier Sabadi”, “Jerusalem”, “Cocody Rock”, and “Dieu”. Negotiations are under way to add Maxi Priest, Admiral T, and Zenzile to the line-up.
